Mission Statement 

To promote the collection and disposal of unused/unwanted drugs in a safe and approved manner. This will keep harmful effects of drugs out of ground water, surface water and municipal water systems in Michigan and the Great Lakes region.

Celebrate the wonderful water resources of our State and region! Our streams, rivers, inland lakes and the Great Lakes are treasured resources. They also supply us with our source for drinking water-whether through municipal water systems or ground water. Every time we get a drink of water, catch a fish or simply contemplate the beautiful blue of  the lakes we should be reminded to do all we can to keep our water clean.

One of the easiest and most important things we can do to
help keep your water clean and improve our environment
is to keep unused/unwanted drugs from entering our water.
WHAT YOU CAN DO TO HELP
#1 Do not flush or dump drugs down your drain.
#2 Bring Unwanted/Unused Drugs to a participating Yellow Jug Old Drugs pharmacy or other safe and approved collection program.
#3 Help spread the word about the importance of keeping harmful drugs out of our water.

#4 Help support Great Lakes Clean Water Organization so we can provide the Yellow Jug Old Drugs program to more communities in Michigan and  the Great Lakes region .
